San Diego County's median price for resale detached houses closed 2006 at $575,000, up $1,000, according to San Diego Association of Realtors. The total number of sales was 19,283, down 24.8% in 2006. The average sold price of a detached home in 2006 was 726,644 and attached home was 429,670. The average luxury home in San Diego is now $2.18 million. (The average luxury home in Los Angeles is now $2.37 million.)
